Spring Marching Band rehearsals & Paperwork Packet
The 2011 Marching Marlins of Bayside High School have begun their Spring rehearsals to prepare for the "Bayside 101" performance in June. This performance is given as an introduction for the rising freshmen students on June 9th. The Marching Marlins play a big role as they are the first real impact that the student see, hear, and feel as they arrive to school. The preparatory rehearsals also serve as the auditions for the Fall marching band. Students of all ability levels are encouraged to attend and to contact Mr. Allsbrook immediately.
Paperwork has been sent home through the band classes and the two rehearsals that have already taken place. Please check with your student to receive this packet. It will need to be completely filled out and returned prior to the first attendance at Spring rehearsals. Please contact Mr. Allsbrook with any questions about the packet as soon as is possible.
All paperwork and the first two installments of the fee are due by JUNE 1, 2011. Students who fail to return the packet and fees by that date will NOT have a spot in the drill for the Fall season. The paperwork packet and individual files should be posted this coming week in the "Important Forms" area at the top right menu column.
Fundraisers will begin this coming weekend for the students to earn a portion of their "Fair Share" fee. Flyers were distributed in class and at afterschool rehearsals this week. Please contact Mrs. Gentry or Mrs. Post with any questions about the fundraisers planned.
Again, please contact Mr. Allsbrook at 648-5200, ext 59559, with any questions.
